Ze Frank has started a blog of notes and advice about fostering online participation. Lots of good stuff so far.
Usually there will be a few contributions that are outliers in technical merit and scale. There is a temptation to reward these contributions by drawing specific attention to them while the project is running. This can sometimes have the effect of damping the project as a whole, since potential contributors will measure their work against an artificially high standard. Alternatively, only displaying the most recent contribution allows the tonality of the project to be at the whim of the last contributor.
Instead of only focusing on technical ability, draw attention to qualities that can be expressed by anyone: simplicity, individuality, and humanity. Allow there to be a feeling of “Hey, I could do that too”.

Hey! My brother has just found a cheat for fish tycoon to make your fish grow up instantly!
Just advance the time on your ipod a couple of hours, go into fish tycoon and they will all be grown up!
Then simply change the time back and they will still be grown up! Easy!

Greetings from sunny San Diego, "the nations finest city". Just got an
ipod touch 32 gig and am really enjoying it. My only concerns are when listening to music my
ipod sometimes freezes up. Also when I plug my
ipod into my Alpine car stereo it tells me that it is not charging. What's the deal? Do I need to buy a new car stereo that will support my new touch? I sure hope not! Thanks in advance.

Hi i recently bought myself a case from iSkin which i usually do when i get a new
ipod. Lets begin,
The static screen protector was very easy to apply but the few bubbles are kinda hard to get off. There was also two tabs letting you know which side to face down the tab on the side away from the side that sticks didnt come off all the way so there’s residue from that in this picture.
<a href=”http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=31952&stc=1&d=1231356975″>http://www.ipodtouchfans.com/forums/…d=12313569 75
The case feels smooth to the touch, also offers sufficient grip. Access to the buttons is unhindered and you can still feel the click through the case. It does make it slightly thicker but its negligible, ex. i use to use the old silk/microfiber case that came with my ipod video with the touch, and it use to fall out, now it is hard to remove and insert it. The "shimmer" on the back, that design i must say its sexy pictures to follow.

This case protects 99% of the ipods surface the only part in which is un covered is the headphone port, the only way that would be damaged is if it was dropped on a corner of something hard at a precise angle(unlikely), there’s a piece included that you put over the usb port on the ipod, its a little plastic rubbery piece fits nicely.
You can see this part in the following photo its on top of the iSkin LCD anti-static package.

Overall i would give this case a 7.8/10
Please rate my reveiw in the poll from 1-5

Ok this sub-forum is starting to get a bit cluttered. So I propose that we should enforce these rules:
- ONLY the Developer of the application can make a release thread
- Applications releases should be in - Name | Developer | Description | Download Link | Cydia Info | Manual/Cydia Installation Directions | Other format
- Any non-application release threads/threads where the developer is not the one writing the OP will be DELETED
Some people (Developers, etc.) will get mad when THEIR application is in a release thread, and THEY didn’t make it.
Also here is the format sample:
Code:
Name: Sample App
Developer: Nickll9009
Description: This is a sample application.
Download Link: This Post
Cydia Info: On BigBoss repo
Directions:
SSH into /Applications and do:
Code:
chmod -R 0755 /Applications/SampleApp.app
For Cydia install just refresh your sources and search for "SampleApp"
Feel free to post your questions/comments.

But I have my doubts about Pink Floyd playing in the background. :\
